As Dr. Longfellow's relationships with his patients grew over the years his concern for children's oral health expanded beyond pediatric dentistry. He became particularly sensitive to the delicate emotions of children who hesitated to smile because their teeth were crooked. He studied the impact of healthy, beautiful smiles on their self esteem. As a result, in 1980 he began his orthodontic studies. Decades later he is still passionate about the specialty of orthodontics.
Dr. Longfellow continues to incorporate leading-edge orthodontic technology into his practice. He strongly believes in keeping updated on the most current techniques and information by his ongoing participation in educational seminars and workshops.
