Dr. Alan Longfellow
Owner, Pediatric Dentist
Raton, New Mexico is Dr. Longfellow's birthplace. However he grew up in various other locations depending upon his father's Army assignments. He was living in Oklahoma when he decided to become a dentist (see "Dreams Do Come True" for complete story). His undergraduate and graduate studies led him to Kansas City, Missouri and Memphis. Tennessee.
In 1973, he moved to Tempe, Arizona to establish a pediatric dental office. During childhood summer visits with his maternal grandmother he grew to love desert landscape and heat. His desire to create beautiful smiles prompted him to obtain orthodontic training and incorporate these skills into his practice in 1980.
In his own words, "Children's Dental Village is founded upon the belief that fostering a high level of ethics in a professional practice or any business for that matter is something that all organizations should strive for. We are committed to treating our parents and patients, employees, vendors, customers, and anyone else involved with our practice with honesty, integrity, and respect."
When he is not spending time with children in his practice Dr. Longfellow can be found on the golf course-or resting, relaxing, and doing what needs to be done-projects, exercise, continuing education, and enjoying family.
