Barb was born in Orange, CA and spent her childhood and college years in various parts of southern California. After getting married she moved to Alaska until 1994 when she moved to Arizona to be closer to her large family. She remembers the days of her youth when the two phones in her house were connected to the wall. "I miss the simplicity of those days without computers, cell phones, and text messaging. I wish my children could experience the value of less can be more when it comes to technology."
Barb's interests and community involvements are centered primarily on her children and her best friend who happens to be her husband Bob. They enjoy movie night out. Together they are dedicated to caring for Bob's mother who has lived with them for many years and recently moved into an assisted living home near by. Barb says this commitment adds an element to her life that teaches what patience and loyalty really mean.
