Elva Dennis

Elva is a native of Arizona-born in Tucson then moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she spent her high school years. After attending Phoenix College she spent the next twenty years employed as a legal secretary before joining Children's Dental Village. She welcomed the shift away from the intensity of legal circles. "The jokes and stories we share in the morning huddles at Children's Dental Village cheer me up and get my day started on a happy and positive note. Laughing has always been a great way to start my day!" Elva provides detailed and efficient check-out services at the end of patient visits.
She enjoys reading, going to movies, shopping and most of all spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. In January 2007 Elva traveled to Africa with her husband and family to work at Nyumbani--an AIDS orphanage outside Nairobi, Kenya. This life-changing, amazing experience heightened her interest in humanitarian work both in her local and global community. She enthusiastically participates in Children's Dental Village Community Outreach projects.
