Kathy Dymalski
Dental Assistant, Employed August 1990
Kathy's father was stationed with his family at Hill Air Force Base in Utah when she was born. Early in her life she became interested in dentistry while she wore braces. She registered for dental assisting classes at Kinman Business College in Spokane, Washington after she graduated from high school. When she moved to Tempe, Arizona with her husband in 1987 her search for a pediatric dentist for her children led her to Children's Dental Village. Three years later at the annual Summer Fun Movie Day sponsored by Dr. Longfellow Kathy learned that a dental assistant position was open in his practice. She interviewed and got the job! "I am so glad that Dr. Longfellow and I were on the same path-that our paths crossed and now I work for an awesome children's dental practice."
When she is not dental assisting, Kathy spends most of her time caring for her granddaughter Ryleigh-a full-time job she gladly accepted after her daughter passed away in 2006. And yet she manages to volunteer for community projects that are near and dear to her heart-supporting Girls State, homeless veterans, and Ronald McDonald House to mention just a few.
