Kris Ybarra
Dental Assistant, First employed 1985; Returned January 1995
Kris traveled in 1971 with her family from the east coast where she was born in Elmhurst, Illinois to Arizona. She spent a brief period of time in La Jolla, California before returning to Arizona where she set down deep roots with her husband and children. Her family and relationship values led her to Children's Dental Village. "I truly believe we all work from our heart. When we work with our patients we enjoy building relationships. It's such a good feeling when you earn the respect and trust from the kids and their parents. Our team takes care of each other; we can always be counted on to support one another. We take pride in making a difference."
Kris spent two years at Mesa Community College and Apollo College for Dental Assisting. She specializes in orthodontic assisting for Dr. Longfellow. Her other work experience includes floral for weddings and parties.
Kris is very involved with her children's school and extra-curricular activities. She conducts hygiene presentations in elementary schools. Her "just for me" fun activities include scrapbooking, taking pictures, spending time with her family and friends and going on family vacations-a BIG priority. She loves to hang out anywhere by water, indulging in Starbucks and creating flowers for weddings.
