Dr. Mercedes Padilla
Owner, Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Padilla has many passions but she says that two rise to the top of her list-dentistry and education. Born in Santa Monica, California she decided at a very young age that she would be a dentist when she grew up (See "Dreams Do Come True" for full story).
After she completed her graduate studies, Dr. Padilla traveled to Arizona in search of a pediatric dental office that matched her passions. Children's Dental Village was a perfect match.
"One of my favorite community endeavors is promoting dental education at local elementary schools. I love to share my passion for dentistry and children in local classrooms and share the importance of good dental health."
When she is not in the office Dr. Padilla enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters. They love the great outdoors and spend many summers visiting national parks, traveling to the White Mountains of Arizona, and down to the beaches of Mexico. They are always looking for new adventures especially in the Southwest. She welcomes any of your suggestions for new places to explore.
In her limited free time Dr. Padilla works on scrapbooks of her children and family vacations. She joins the small but mighty staff book club and enjoys reading all types of literature. She believes that nothing compares to the gathering of friends and learning more and more about each other through the discussion of a good book.
