Dr. Alan Longfellow is a native of Raton, New Mexico. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee at Memphis School of Dentistry and completed his Pediatric Dentistry Residency at the same school. Prior to that, he attended the University of Missouri in Kansas City, Missouri for his undergraduate studies. Dr. Longfellow believes that continuing education is a critical component to staying abreast of innovations in the pediatric dental and orthodontic industries. He enjoys membership in the following organizations: American Orthodontic Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, American Dental Association, American Society of Dentistry for Children, Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Arizona State Dental Association, California Research Conference, (g)nathos Advanced Orthodontic Study Group and the East Valley Pediatric Society.
When he is not spending time creating healthy smiles, he can be found on the golf course or casting a line in a fabulous fishing locale. Dr. Longfellow's philanthropic endeavors include a recent humanitarian dental mission to Argentina, local participation in the Arizona Mission of Mercy and Children’s Dental Village's Community Outreach Days.
